On
September 8, Kyiv hosted the first cycling race " Kyivska Sotka
2014". The event took place as a part of the second musical cycling festival
VELO-ROCK 2014. 700 participants tried to conquer a distance of 100km.
The
three-hour race was held along the route: Pushkin Park – Peremogy
Avenue – Zhytomyr highway – Kapitanovka
vil. – Bucha – Hostomel vil. – Demidov vil. – Petrivtsi vil. – Bogaturska
st. – Obolonskf avenue – Moskovsky Avenue – Naberezhnye Rybalska st. – Postal square – Sagaydachnogo st. – Kontraktova square.
